Why is the Payment for My Kifgo Purchase Still Processing?
When you click "Checkout," your payment is usually approved by your bank in just a few seconds. However, occasionally you might see a message that your order is "Processing" and you won't immediately receive an order confirmation email.
Don't worry! A processing payment simply means Kifgo is actively working with your bank or credit card company to clear the transaction.
Common reasons a payment might take longer to process:
High Transaction Volume: During busy shopping seasons (like the holidays), banks and payment gateways experience high traffic, which can slow down processing times.
Fraud Prevention: Your bank's security system might temporarily hold the transaction to verify that it is actually you making the purchase, especially if it is a large order or you are buying from an international seller.
Temporary Glitches: Small communication delays between your bank and Kifgo's payment processor.
How long will it take to process?
Most processing payments resolve themselves within a few hours. In rare cases, it can take up to 72 hours for a bank to fully clear a transaction.
Once the payment is officially approved, you will receive your email receipt, and the order will appear normally on your Purchases and Reviews page!
Does the seller know I bought the item?
Yes! The seller is notified that you placed an order and that the payment is currently processing. However, sellers are instructed not to ship the item until the payment officially clears. This protects both you and the seller.
What should I do while I wait?
There is no need to try purchasing the item a second time (doing so might result in you being charged twice).
Check your email inbox. If your bank requires you to verify the purchase via a text message or email, they will notify you.
If the payment is still processing after 72 hours, please contact your bank or credit card company to ensure they are not blocking the transaction.
