How to Return or Exchange an Item on Kifgo
Because Kifgo is a marketplace made up of independent creators and shop owners, each seller manages their own inventory and sets their own policies regarding returns and exchanges.
Kifgo does not have a site-wide, universal return policy. This means that while one seller might gladly accept returns within 30 days, another seller (especially those making custom or personalized items) might not accept returns at all.
Step 1: Check the Seller's Return Policy
Before requesting a return, check to see if the shop accepts them.
Go to the original listing page for the item you purchased.
Scroll down to the "Shipping and Return Policies" section.
Here, you will see if the seller accepts returns or exchanges, and the timeframe you have to contact them (e.g., "Contact me within 14 days of delivery").
Step 2: Request the Return or Exchange
If the seller accepts returns, or if you want to ask for an exception:
Sign in to your Kifgo account and go to "Purchases and Reviews."
Find the order you want to return.
Click the "Help with Order" or "Message Seller" button.
Politely explain that you would like to return or exchange the item.
If the seller agrees, they will provide you with the correct return shipping address and instructions. Do not mail the item back without the seller's approval.
Who Pays for Return Shipping?
Unless the seller explicitly states in their shop policies that they cover return shipping, the buyer is usually responsible for paying the return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.
What if the item arrived damaged or wasn't as described?
If a seller states they "do not accept returns," but the item you received is broken, defective, or significantly different from the listing description, you are protected! First, message the seller to ask for a refund or replacement. If they refuse or do not respond within 48 hours, you can Open a Case with Kifgo Support to have our team step in.
