What is the Kifgo Purchase Protection Program?

At Kifgo, we want you to shop with confidence. We know that when you buy from independent sellers, you are putting your trust in our platform. That is why we created the Kifgo Purchase Protection Program.

What Does Purchase Protection Cover?

Under the Purchase Protection Program, you will receive a full refund (including all shipping costs and taxes) if your order meets any of the following criteria:

  1. Non-Delivery: Your item never arrived.

  2. Arrived Damaged: The item was damaged or broken in transit by the shipping carrier.

  3. Not as Described: The item you received is significantly different from the seller's listing description, photos, or the customizations you requested.

How Do I Qualify for a Refund?

To be eligible for Kifgo Purchase Protection, you must meet a few simple requirements:

  • You purchased the item directly on kifgo.lk using our secure payment system. (Transactions made off-platform, such as paying a seller via a private bank transfer, are not protected).

  • You contacted the seller first and gave them 48 hours to resolve the issue.

  • You opened a Case with Kifgo Support within 100 days of your estimated delivery date.

How It Protects Sellers, Too!

Our program doesn't just protect buyers—it protects our hardworking sellers! If a seller shipped the item on time and provided valid tracking information, but the package was lost or damaged by the post office, Kifgo will cover the cost of the refund.

This means the buyer gets their money back, and the seller keeps their earnings. It’s a win-win!

How to Get Started

If you have an issue with your order and believe it qualifies for Purchase Protection, your first step is to Contact the Seller through your "Purchases and Reviews" page. If the seller cannot resolve the issue within 48 hours, you can then click "Open a Case" to have Kifgo step in and issue your refund.
