Why Did I Receive a Security Code Email from Kifgo?
To keep your account safe, Kifgo will occasionally send a multi-digit Security Code (also known as a One-Time Password or OTP) to the email address or phone number associated with your account.
Scenario 1: You Triggered the Code
If you are actively using Kifgo, receiving a security code is completely normal. Our system will send you a code to verify your identity if you:
Attempt to sign in from a new device or a new internet browser.
Request to reset your password.
Update sensitive account information, such as changing your email address, phone number, or payment details.
Have Two-Step Verification (2FA) enabled on your account.
If you triggered the code, simply enter it on the Kifgo screen when prompted to continue what you were doing!
Scenario 2: You Did NOT Trigger the Code
If you receive an email containing a Kifgo security code, but you are not currently trying to log in or make changes to your account, someone else may be trying to access your account.
If this happens, please take the following steps immediately:
Do not share the code: Kifgo staff will never ask you to read a security code to them over the phone or via email. If someone is asking for the code, it is a scam.
Change your password: Because the person trying to log in may already know your password, go to kifgo.lk immediately and change your password to something strong and unique.
Check your account details: Once logged in, review your shipping addresses and payment methods to ensure nothing has been changed.
Contact Support: If you notice unauthorized changes or are unable to log in to change your password, Contact Kifgo Customer Support immediately for assistance.
