What to Do if You're Being Harassed by Another User on Kifgo
At Kifgo, we are committed to maintaining a welcoming, respectful, and safe community for everyone. We have a strict zero-tolerance policy against harassment, discrimination, hate speech, and abusive behavior.
If you are receiving unwanted, abusive, or threatening messages from a buyer or a seller on kifgo.lk, please take the following steps immediately to protect yourself and report the user.
1. Stop Communicating
Do not engage with the user. Replying to abusive messages can often escalate the situation. If a buyer or seller is being hostile or threatening, immediately stop all communication with them.
2. Mark the Message as Spam
If the user continues to send you unwanted messages, you can filter them out of your inbox.
Open the message thread in your Kifgo Inbox.
Click the "Mark as Spam" button.
This will move the conversation out of your main inbox and prevent you from receiving notifications from this user.
3. Report the User to Kifgo Support
If the messages contain threats of violence, extreme abusive language, hate speech, or severe harassment, marking it as spam is not enough—we need to know about it so we can take action against the offending account.
Do not delete the messages. We need them as evidence.
Go to the Contact Us page.
Select the option for reporting a policy violation or harassment.
Provide our support team with the username or shop name of the person harassing you, and clearly state that you are being harassed.
Our Trust & Safety team will review the message history. If we find that the user has violated our Anti-Harassment policies, their account will be permanently suspended.
Note: If you ever feel that your physical safety is in immediate danger, please contact your local law enforcement authorities right away.
