How to Use Search Filters to Find Exactly What You Need

When you search for a popular item on Kifgo (like a "silver necklace"), you might be presented with hundreds of thousands of results! To keep you from scrolling endlessly, Kifgo offers powerful Search Filters that help you narrow down those results so you can find exactly what you are looking for in seconds.

Where are the Search Filters?

Once you type a keyword into the main search bar and hit Enter, look at the left side of the search results page. You will see a column of different filter categories that you can apply to your search.

Common Filters and How to Use Them

You can check as many boxes as you want to narrow down your results. Here are the most popular filters:

  • Price Range: On a budget? You can select a pre-set price range (like "Under $25") or type your own custom minimum and maximum price into the boxes.

  • Free Shipping: Check this box to hide any items that charge a shipping fee. You will only see items that ship to your door for free!

  • Item Type: If you specifically want a brand-new, customized item, select "Handmade." If you are looking for an antique or retro piece, select "Vintage."

  • Shop Location: Want to support a seller in your own country (and usually get faster shipping)? You can filter the results to only show items that are located in your specific region.

  • Color and Material: If you are shopping for a wedding dress or a specific piece of furniture, you can use these filters to only show items that are "White" or made of "Wood."

How to Remove Filters

If you applied too many filters and suddenly have zero search results, don't worry! You can easily remove them.

  • Look at the top of the search results, just below the search bar. You will see small "tags" for every filter you applied.

  • Simply click the "X" on any filter tag to remove it, or click the "Clear All Filters" button at the top of the left-hand menu to start fresh!
