How to Search for Local Sellers
Because Kifgo is a global marketplace, a search for a handmade wooden table might bring up results from sellers located all the way across the world!
While shopping internationally is a great way to find unique items, you may prefer to buy from sellers located in your own country. Shopping locally not only supports small businesses in your community, but it also means faster delivery times, cheaper shipping costs, and no surprise international customs fees.
Here is how you can filter your Kifgo search to only show local sellers:
How to Use the Location Filter
Go to the main search bar at the top of the Kifgo homepage and type in the item you are looking for. Press Enter.
Once the search results load, look at the filter menu on the left side of the screen.
Scroll down until you see the "Shop Location" section.
By default, this is set to "Anywhere." Click the radio button next to your specific country (for example, "United States" or "United Kingdom").
Want to get even more specific? Click the "Custom" option and type in the name of your specific City or State!
The page will automatically refresh, and now all the items displayed will be shipped from the location you selected.
Can I pick up an item in person?
Even if you find a seller who lives in your exact city, Kifgo sellers operate out of their own private homes or studios, which means they usually do not have a physical storefront.
For safety and privacy reasons, all Kifgo transactions and shipping must be handled online through the platform. Sellers cannot offer in-person meetups or cash exchanges to hand off an item. However, because they are so close by, standard shipping will often get the item to your door the very next day!
