What Should I Do If My Kifgo Purchase Was Declined?
It can be incredibly frustrating to find the perfect item on Kifgo, only to have your payment declined when you click "Checkout." If your purchase did not go through, don't worry—your items will remain safely in your Kifgo cart while you resolve the issue!
If your Kifgo purchase was declined, please take the following steps:
1. Double-Check Your Payment Details
The most common reason for a declined purchase is a simple typo.
Go back to your checkout screen and carefully review the credit card number you entered.
Verify that the expiration date and the CVV security code (the 3-digit number on the back of the card) are correct.
Ensure that the Billing Address you entered matches the exact address associated with your credit card statement. If you recently moved, your bank might decline the charge if the billing addresses do not match.
2. Contact Your Bank or Credit Card Company
If you are certain your details are correct, the transaction was likely blocked by your bank's automated security system.
Banks often place temporary security holds on accounts to prevent fraud, especially if you are making a large purchase or buying from a seller located in a different country.
Call the phone number on the back of your credit card. Tell the representative that you are trying to make an online purchase on Kifgo and ask them to approve the transaction.
Once the bank lifts the security hold, you can return to Kifgo and complete your checkout.
3. Try an Alternative Payment Method
If you are in a rush and cannot reach your bank, the fastest way to complete your purchase is to use a different payment method.
Try entering a different credit or debit card.
If you have a PayPal or Apple Pay account, try selecting those options at checkout instead!
